WHAT IS CIVIC ENGAGEMENT WEEK (CEW)???

Civic engagement week is a week to spread awareness of civic duties in the US today. We will work with political and societal figures to promote diversity and civic engagement across all fronts in society.

Everyday - Women in Politics in Morning Announcements 

In honor of National Women's History Month, we will be highlighting women in politics each day during the morning announcements.

Academy Award nominated filmmaker Steve James (Hoop Dreams, Life Itself) examines racial, economic and class issues in contemporary American education in the multipart unscripted documentary series "America to Me."

Period 6: Stephanie Kim, Senior Director of Census 2020 at United Way Bay Area

Period 7: Lenny Siegel, Former MV City Mayor, Housing Justice Advocate
