It's time to sign up for CHALLENGE DAY! Ask anyone who has been to Challenge Day and they will try to describe the experience. People say they had a lot of fun, it opened their eyes, they saw others in a new light, or felt more connected and alive. They'll say that they want to go again. But it is hard to describe an experience. Experience Challenge Day for yourself. Greatly increase your social/emotional IQ in one day. On your road to greater happiness. Everyone (students, teachers, parents, staff) is welcome to register. 

 

The goal of Challenge Day is to help stop the teasing, alienation and lack of empathy that is so deeply a part of the school experience for millions of young people every day. Through a variety of games, trust-building activities and presentations, you will be given a unique opportunity to see yourself and the people around you through a new set of eyes.

 

Since 1987, the nationwide Challenge Day programs have helped to transform the lives of thousands of teenagers just like you. Challenge Day has not only received numerous awards, but has also been featured in the best-selling book, Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul and the Emmy Award-winning documentary, Teen Files: Surviving High School. As a young leader from your community, you can be part of this positive change!

Get a copy of the permission slip from Room 413 (ASB room) or print one out here and return it to Ms. Rietveld (413/415) or Ms. Yow (120).

Participation is on a first come, first served basis. It is required that participants arrive on time and stay for the entire program. Challenge Day on November 3, 2017 is in the Main Gym from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
